BREED OF DOGS WILL NOW GUARD THE METRO STATIONS
The threat of terror and suicide attacks frequently comes to the capital of the country New Delhi. They are mainly across at the Airports and Metro Stations across the city.
The Central Industrial Security Force plays a significant role in ensuring to prevent these kinds of incidents. For further progress, CISF will now expand their forces and bring in a special breed of dogs to help their special forces and perform their duty well.

Belgian Milionis a dog breed is known for their athletic abilities and when trained rigorously sniff out the suspicious objects. You will be surprised to know that Belgian Milionis was the part of the team that tracked down the traces of Osama Bin Laden. They are deployed for security at the White House.

Now CISF is also going to include this breed of dogs in their team and will be assigned on several Delhi Metro Stations. After the proper training of Belgian Milionis, they would be helpful in the detection of explosives and narcotics.

It is found that in the past Belgian Milionis dogs have helped the security team to discover explosives from the depth of two feet. Even they can track the person by their odour even after 24 hours. This breed of dogs can even walk for 25 to 30 kms and finding explosives and narcotics in the bags during security screening is like a walk in the park for them.

While the training of these dogs, they are made familiar to the sounds of explosions and made to understand the difference between a blast and gunfire. Their training period is for about 10 months.
In India, Belgian Milionis has been appointed to track the poachers in Kazinga National Park and CISF used them against the Naxals in 2011.
