"Pugs don't eat to live infact they live to eat"

Being an owner of a pug, you really need to know you are on the ride with one of the most foodie dog. They just love eating and eating more can be dangerous to them, so being the owner, you need to keep an eye over their diet always. Because if they start to weigh more than, the diseases will hit your puppy badly and soon, so cut the weight as soon as possible. You should never share human food with your pet because that may contain elements which can be toxic for your pet for example potatoes, chocolates, etc.

  • These wrinkly looking dogs may not look that cute as much as they are with their gestures.
  • They are a kind of family dogs as they adapt up easily and go along with people really well.

  • They cannot bear hot and humid weather for a longer time.
  • They go along really well with children so that can be another reason to call them as a family dog.
  • He can really not jog with you because they are not so active kind of dogs but yes, they love outings.
  • They are too loyal and receptive so they are an excellent watchdog.
  • They are too sensitive to deal with so if you are being harsh to them then it's going to be tough for you to deal with them.
  • People at time hold the misconception that they are difficult to get trained in house stream but it's not really that way if you start to understand their body language then training them won't be a big deal.
  • Another thing which we do is to wait for 6 months to train them but that's not at all important instead start training them from the day you meet them.
  • Last but not the least they have certain dose and period of vaccination so do complete that on time.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR PUG:

There are two most important things you should keep in mind if you are planning to buy a pug.

The first and the most important thing is to approach a reputed breeder because if you are not doing that remember you are on the verge of getting trapped and will be fooled out with a dog of a different breed. So, choose your breeder wisely and smartly. Try not getting fooled up from the fake breeders. Last but not the least, choose the breeder in your area of interest.

The second thing I believe comes as being an important point of concern is the quality of pedigree and remember only a reputed or a good breeder will only know what is a pedigree. Actually, quality pedigree means what kind of parents, grandparents and ancestor that particular pet had, because through that only you will understand the abilities, temperament and health of that pet, as almost the same traits are passed as hereditary. A basically track record of a quality pup is very important.

Now what mostly happens is that at times we confuse the two important terms pedigree& puppy's registration but they are too different. Through pedigree a reputed breeder can tell you what qualities the pet must have inherited, but through registration papers you identify who are the parents and ancestors of the pup but they will not tell you about the qualities.
