- Brush your dog’s teeth daily: To maintain your dog’s oral health, you need to make sure you brush your dogs’ teeth twice a day without any fail. This task may sound very tiring to a lot of people but will save you a lot of trips to the vet in future.
- Take your dog to the vet: Even after you brush your dog’s teeth twice a day, it is important to visit the vet every 3 to 4 months just to make sure no infection is living inside your pooch’s mouth that needs to be taken care of.
- Diet is important: Your dog’s dental health is directly related to its diet, the healthier your dog eats the better its dental health. Treats that are richer in calcium should be given to the dog to ensure the good oral health of the dogs.
