THREE REASONS WHY TRAINING CATS IS DIFFICULT THAN TRAINING DOGS

It is actually possible to train cats, but it's much more difficult. Let’s just talk about three reasons which make it difficult to train your cats than to train a dog.

  1. Cats don’t like to spend energy – Much like dogs, cats aren’t much insistent. They are extremely wise and don’t like to spend energy and tend to save it as much as possible. This is also why cats have the ability to sleep all day and by doing this, they preserve their energy. Additionally, we all are very much aware of the cat’s preference to usually hunt small animals, such as a mouse because they comparatively consume less energy in the form of calories. In respect to the above statement, we can conclude, that cats will not respond to training very well if you are demanding too much.
  2. Dogs do have larger brains than cats – Larger brains than cats means both in absolute terms and relative to the size of their bodies. Larger brains automatically and rapidly stimulate the brain function to create more intense to be amicable and help to meet the social demands of living in a pack. This, in turn, makes the dogs better at reading and responding to human facial expressions, gestures and commands than compared to cats.
  3. Cats have different motivations than dogs – When you give any command or instruction to a dog, the dog will immediately do it on the cost of a good appreciation. It’s really simple and the most awesome thing in the world to see them do what you want. But on the contrary, cats, not so much. You pretty much need to put some more efforts to make it worth their while. This is because cats usually do any kind of stuff when theirs is something in it for them. That something can be some tasty treats, their favourite meal, or toys with they love to play.
